Mission
The mission of the ARC Boosters, a 501(c)(3) parent-led organization is to empower the Andover Robotics Club through consistent funding for tools, parts, and travel expenses. The Andover Robotics Club is home to four FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) teams, making it the largest FTC club in Massachusetts.Â

What is Andover Robotics Club (ARC)?

ARC is a high school club of 60+ students across four robotics teams:

4410 ARC Lightning: co-ed, est. 2010

5273 ARC Thunder: co-ed, est. 2011

10331 ARC Hailstorm: girls & gender minorities, est. 2015

24256 ARC Sandstorm: co-ed rookie team, est. 2023

What robotics competition do we participate in?
We compete in FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), a robotics competition for grades 7-12 where teams work to design robots to compete in 2 versus 2 matches.Â

Outside of just building robots, we:

Host and participate in outreach initiatives and events that spread our love for STEM

Prepare Engineering Portfolios to display our teams' best work

Practice speaking in front of a panel of judges who evaluate our team and our robot
